Center Omer Asik of the Houston Rockets is one player about to burst on the scene. After two years of coming off the bench in Chicago, the youngster signed a three-year deal with Houston this off-season and has played some terrific basketball this preseason. This week against San Antonio, Asik scored 13 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished out five assists in just 26 minutes of action. The 26-year-old will start this season in the middle and get plenty of playing time, making him a great late-round selection for fantasy basketball owners.
